How to protect yourself, your family and your patients this flu season from infection Monday, Nov. 19

Please join us at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19 in Los Gatos Conference Room 2 as our own Epidemiology Coordinator Penny Takizawa teaches us practical ways to protect patients, our families, and ourselves from infection.
This special session is open to all Spiritual Care volunteers, hospital staff and area clergy.  Working together we can prevent the spread of infections this flu season and throughout the year.
Yes, it may be as simple as washing your hands – but as Penny will show us, there is an effective way – and an ineffective way – to wash your hands. We’re planning some “hands on” activities to help you learn. We’ll also answer any questions you have about the 2012 Flu Prevention Program and why we each have an annual TB test. Please let Chaplain Tom Jackson know by Nov. 15 if you will join us at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in Los Gatos Conference Room 2. This is open to Spiritual Care volunteers and area clergy who visit patients here
