HEALTH: Being vegetarian is beneficial, study reports

Vegetarians have a lower percentage of body fat compared to meat-eaters, even when they consume the same number of calories, a new Loma Linda University study shows.

The findings are part of the landmark Adventist Health Study 2, a long-term investigation of disease rates among Seventh-day Adventists in the United States and Canada.
