Vinutha Mohan Will speak on the Hindu Faith

Vinutha Mohan will speak to Spiritual Care Volunteers the Hindu faith at 1 p.m. January 10 in Meeting rooms A and B of our Mountain View Campus. She graduated from JFK in 2011, with a Masters in Clinical Psychology. She loves working with children and adolescents and has worked extensively in school-based counseling programs in Elementary, Middle and High Schools.

Vinutha is also a Certified Crisis Counselor and volunteers at the Santa Clara County Suicide and Crisis Hotline. She has also counseled women with a history of domestic violence for the Santa Clara County’s Cal Works program and run groups for the geriatric population.

She works primarily from an Attachment based theoretical orientation but uses interventions from various modalities such as expressive arts, EFT, Process models etc. Prior to her career as a therapist, Vinutha held several executive positions in Finance and Accounting for Multinational companies. She currently works at Stanford University’s Help Center and also has a Private Practice internship at the Process Therapy Institute in Los Gatos. In addition, she volunteers at El Camino Hospital’s Spiritual Care Services and works primarily with patients in the Critical Care Unit. Vinutha is very much involved in the Indian community and runs a Sunday school teaching Indian cultural values. She loves to hike in nature, garden, read, sing and explore her spirituality.
